MCA Papers : Delhi University MCA Entrance Test 2008

The University of Delhi conducts an entrance exam for admission to the MCA programme of the Department of Computer Science. This Department of Delhi University conducts two other postgraduate courses- M.Sc. in Computer Science and P.G.D.C.A. The P.G.D.C.A.

Program is run in the constituent colleges while the other two course are run in the department itself. In 2008 the Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam will be held on 17th February.
The admission test for M.Sc Computer Science would be held on 7th June and the admission test for P.G.D.C.A would be held on 8th June 2008.

Eligibility:
For admission to the MCA programme of Delhi University candidates need to pass the Bachelor’s Degree/Masters degree with at least 60% (55% for reserved category students) marks in aggregate. It is also necessary for them to have one paper in Mathematics and another in Computer Science/Statistics/Operational research/Mathematics.

Obtaining the Application form for Delhi University MCA Entrance Exam:
For obtaining the bulletin and application form for admission to the MCA course of the University of Delhi by post, a Bank Draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST and OBC category) drawn in favor of the Registrar University of Delhi and payable at New Delhi along with a self-addressed stamped (worth Rs-30/-) envelope (Size 10″ X 7″) should be sent to Mrs. Raj Rani Kedla, Office-Incharge, Room No.113, Department of Computer Science, New Academic Block, University of Delhi, Delhi-110 007.

The application forms can also be obtained from the Department of Computer Science by paying the required amount in the form of a Bank Draft drawn in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi and payable at New Delhi on all working days between 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM.

Date of Issuing of Application Form: 5th December 2007.

Last Date of Receipt of Application Form: 30th January 2008.

Date of Entrance Exam: 17th February 2008.
