MCA Entrance : Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET)

The test is conducted by any university of Andhra Pradesh on rotation basis, at the directives of the Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory body of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Courses

* MBA – Master of Business Administration
* MCA – Master of Computer Application

Eligibility

MBA
The candidate must have passed a bachelor’s degree examination of not less than three years duration from any recognized university or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

MCA
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level or should have passed bachelor’s degree examination of not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Candidates appearing for the final of the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the entrance test. They must also satisfy the local / non-local status as required by the Government rules.
Examination Pattern
mcapapers.info/category/icet" title='Read more about ICET'>ICET is an objective test, based on multiple choices. The question paper consists of three sections. There is no system of negative marking in the examination.

Section A
It is based on the Analytical Ability (Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency).

Section B
Thissectionis based on Mathematical Ability (Arithmetic Ability, Algebraic & Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability).

Section C
Thissectionis based on Communication Ability (Vocabulary, Business and Computer Technology, Functional Grammar, Reading Comprehension).
