M.Pharm Pharmacognosy Admission 2010 at GRD Institute of Management and Technology in Dehradun
Introduction: Pharmaceutics is the discipline of pharmacy that deals with all facets of the process of turning a new chemical entity (NCE) into a medication able to be safely and effectively used by patients in the community. Pharmaceutics is the science of dosage form design. There are many chemicals with known pharmacological properties but a raw chemical is of no use to a patient. Pharmaceutics deals with the formulation of a pure drug substance into a dosage form.
Eligibility:
1. B.Pharm. from AICTE approved College/Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
2. Qualified GATE.
No. of Seats: 10
Selection Procedure: The selection will be made on the basis of the merit prepared by apportioning the following weightage
1. Weightage of percentile scored at GATE – 70%
2. Weightage for qualifying examination based on aggregate marks of theory papers of B.Pharma – 30%
Important Dates:
Date of counseling with regard to merit 2nd Week of July
Academic Session starts 1st week of August
Admission Procedure: Through AIEEE score, followed by Uttarakhand Technical University counseling and regulations.

• Matriculation Mark-sheet
• Intermediate mark sheet
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Medical fitness Certificate
Rules:
• Students should come in proper prescribed uniform. Without proper uniform they will not be allowed to attend the classes.
• Students should always keep their identity card with them.
• Students should participate in at least one of the extra curricular activities organized by the Institute.
• Students should abide all the rules and regulations of the Institutions.
• In the library strict discipline and rules are to be followed.
• Students should pass the Sessional tests as prescribed. There may be three tests in a semester. The marks of the two tests will be considered for the Sessional. Students not appearing in the Sessional test may be detained in he final examination.
