CBSE introduces structured syllabi for music and dance

From the new academic year, students of Std XI and XII affiliated to the senior schools of the Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE ) will have documented syllabi for music and dance. Though the syllabi for these subjects always existed, it was never structured. Music and dance have always been optional subjects for students of Std XI and XII. However, the syllabi was only given to schools that offered it as one of the electives.The syllabi has been published and is even available in the market.
