Results of online M.Sc. Entrance Examination – 2010
1. The following candidates (in alphabetical order) have qualified for admission to the various M.Sc. programmes at the TERI University. Programmes have been allotted based on the order of preference indicated by the candidates, their order of merit in the Common Entrance Test held on 29 May 2010, and interviews (where relevant).
2. Candidates who have not been allotted programmes of their first choice are advised to look at the waitlists of ALL the other programmes. Names of candidates may appear in the waitlists of more than one programme. Waitlists are given in order of merit.
3. Candidates in the main list are to deposit the requisite fees (Rs. 53,955/- for M.Sc. — Economics, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources Management, Water Resources Management and Climate Science and Policy; and Rs. 63,955 for M.Sc. – Geoinformatics and Plant Biotechnology) by demand draft in favour of “The Registrar, TERI University”, payable at New Delhi on or before 4:00 pm on 23 June 2010, failing which leftover seats may be offered to the waitlisted candidates in order of merit.
4. The waitlists will be activated, if required by the University, on 28 June 2010 at 11:00 am. Seats if any, will be offered to the waitlisted candidates, in order of merit to those who are physically present/represented at the time of the activation of the waitlist. Those offered a seat in the waitlist will be required to submit a demand draft of Rs. 25,000/- in favour of “The Registrar, TERI University”, payable at New Delhi, on the same day, failing which the offer will be made to the next candidate on the waiting list. The remaining fees is to be submitted by 5 July 2010, failing which it would be presumed that the candidate is not interested in enrolling for the programme. Waitlists may be activated once again, if necessary, on 14 July 2010.
5. Candidates in the waitlist are advised to check with the University on the status of the activation of the waitlists one day before the dates mentioned above for activation of waitlists.
