HYDERABAD – M.SC (RADIOLOGICAL PHYSICS) ADMISSION 2010 – OSMANIA UNIVERSITY
Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics Admission 2010 at Osmania University, Hyderabad
Introduction: This course is offered at Department of Physics, Osmania University in collaboration with MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Center and Indo–American Cancer Centre, Hyderabad.
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed or appeared in final year of M.Sc. in Physics/Nuclear Physics or an equivalent course with at least 55% marks are eligible.
Duration : 2 Semesters (one year) + 3 months of internship / field training
Entrance Test: Admissions into Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics is made on the basis of entrance test conducted for that purpose. The entrance test paper contains multiple choice objective type questions only and the answers for the questions are to be marked on the OPTICAL MARK READER (OMR) answer sheet by DARKENING the respective ovals with a H.B. PENCIL. (The candidate obtaining a minimum of 36 per cent marks in the entrance test is declared eligible to seek admission. However, there is no minimum mark for the SC & ST candidates). In addition to qualifying in the entrance test the candidates must fulfill the other eligibility conditions specified for the course for which he/she seeks admission.
Application Procedure: Application forms for above courses along with the information brochures can be obtained from the Directorate of Admissions, Near University Press, Osmania University Hyderabad-500 007 on payment of Rs 400/- (which includes registration fee) through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U. Hyderabad”. The application forms along with information brochure can also be downloaded from (http://www.osmania.ac.in/POST%20M.Sc.%20DIPLOMA%20IN%20RADIOLOGICAL%20PHYSICS%202010/Application%20Radiological%20Physics.pdf) and submit the same with a demand draft for Rs.400/- drawn in favour of “The Director, Directorate of Admissions, O.U., Hyderabad”. The last date for submitting the filled in applications, either in person or by post, to the Director, Directorate of Admissions, Near University Press, Osmania University, Hyderabad-500 007 is 05-07-2010 by 4.00 p.m.
