Workshop on Bioinformatics in Genomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics at IIT – Kharagpur
Introduction : A short term training programme in the area of Bioinformatics to create awareness among the researchers, teachers and limited number of final year M.Sc. / Ph.D / M.Tech / B.Tech students for using bioinformatics tools and their applications in genome and proteome research. The training is primarily targeted to acquaint them in the frontier areas of following :-
• Biological data bases and sequence analysis tool
• Molecular modelling and Drug designing
• Genomics
• Proteomics
Venue: Department of Biotechnology, and Computer & Informatics Centre, IIT Kharagpur
Workshop Dates : 24th-25th September, 2010
How to Apply: Send your application in prescribed proforma along with registration fees (payable by demand draft to CEP-STC, IIT Kharagpur drawn on any bank at Kharagpur) on or before by 5th September, 2010.
