CIET – ALL INDIA PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2010 – DELHI
All India Photography Contest for Children 2010 at Central Institute of Educational Technology, New Delhi
Introduction : To provide direct experience of Educational technology instruments such as camera to promote visual communication and creativity expression.
Eligibility : The contest is OPEN to all students/candidates of ages 12-18 years from formal, non-formal, private and government schools from all states and union territories of the country. However, the relatives and wards of the employees of CIET /NCERT including its subordinate offices are not eligible to participate in this contest.

2. The organisers are not responsible for submissions that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Please retain a copy of your photographs, as we shall not be returning their photographs once they have been submitted for contest.
3. No registration fee is charged for entry.
Submission Deadline : The last day for the submission of All India Photography Contest for Children (2010)is September 30, 2010.
Rules : Please read these rules and guidelines carefully before submission of their entries. Any entry not fulfilling these rules and regulations will be treated as disqualified.
• The contest is open to all students/children of age groups 12-18 years from formal, non-formal, private and government schools from all states and union territories of the country.
• Content of the photographs should not be obscene or hurt any religious or social sentiment.
• Each student may send TWO entries, one on each of the two themes referred above.
• The entries should be sent through the Head of the Institution along with the certificate of bonafide work done by a particular student in the prescribed format.
• The entries may be in colour (glossy/matt) or black and white in 5”x7” or 8”x10” size and should be sent along with entry form completed in all respects, on or before 30 September, 2010. Entries in digital form will also be accepted. Digital entries should be sent on CD in high resolution jpg or tiff formats, with a minimum pixel size of 1024×768 and a print size of 8” x10”.
• The contestant should write his/her name and complete postal address with e-mail/ fax / phone number on one copy only.
• All the entries will be screened by jury consisting of acclaimed photographers and educationists.
• Photographs submitted to the competition will not be returned. NCERT will be free to use these photographs for educational purposes in their electronic or print publications.
• The decisions of the judges are final and not subjected to any dispute. The institute is not responsible for any lapse or omissions on the part of the judges.
• In all matters and disputes, the decision of the Joint Director, Central Institute of Educational Technology /NCERT, New Delhi will be final and binding.
