8th World Congress for Oral implantology (WCOI) at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Delhi
Introduction : It gives me immense pleasure to extend cordial invitation to all aspiring participants on the behalf of the Local Organizing Committee to attend the upcoming 8th World Congress for Oral implantology (WCOI) being jointly organized with American Academy of Implants Dentistry (AAID) scheduled to be held form 20th-22nd November, 2010 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.
New Delhi the venue for 8th World Congress for Oral Implantology (WCOI) is the capital of India and is the most important International gateway with year round tourism destination. We can assure you that WCOI is not only going to present an exciting scientific interaction but also an enriching cultural and historic experience as India offers a large number of destinations around Delhi which you may enjoy visiting along with your families.
A number of distinguished international dental professionals have accepted our invitation to provide the conference with latest information and technologies on dental implants. The world’s major dental corporations have committed their participation and will introduce their recent innovations to all participants. The introduction of numerous surgical guidance platforms and the projected increase in the number of practitioners involved in implant surgery, our profession is bound to go through major changes that will have major impacts on the way we view and practice oral implantology.
Call for Papers : The Scientific Committee invites abstracts of original contributions for oral and poster presentation. The convention will be organized in a series of thematically ordered sessions. The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts for scientific quality, and recommend the acceptance or rejection of each abstract. All contributions accepted will be assigned to a specific session. Submission of abstracts must be done only on the Convention website. The presentations will be on research project, best practices, successful implementations, innovations, technologies etc.

Saturday November 20, 2010 from 11:00 to 14:00hrs
Sunday November 21, 2009 from 11:00 to 14:00hrs
Monday November 22, 2009 from 11:00 to 14:00hrs

Inauguration Time : 9.30 AM on 20 November 2010
Important Dates :
>The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15th September 2010. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to allocate abstracts into sessions as they see fit in accordance with the overall programme objectives.
>Abstracts that do not include sufficient data may be rejected.
>Abstract submissions for Posters and Lectures close on 15th September 2010. (date revised !)
>Further information on presentation requirements and preparation of posters will be provided in additional correspondence
>Authors of submissions will be notified via email by latest 30th October 2010.
