GTU’s MCA students demands reassessment of their exam papers
On Friday, more than 300 students of Master of Computer Application (MCA) gathered at Gujarat Technological University (GTU) demanding reassessment of their exam papers. Students of most MCA colleges in the city were protesting against the poor result of semester II exams that were declared on Saturday. They said that fair exams were not conducted and only 39 per cent students managed to pass.
At present, there is no option for reassessment but only re-checking of exam papers in Gujarat University (GU). However, GTU has called for a meeting of co-ordinators and professors of most of the MCA colleges on Monday to decide on further course of action in the matter. GTU authorities will decide about the next step only after the meeting, said sources in the department.
