Companies often offer attractive job opportunities for proven and experienced designers. Designers can also opt to work on their own as freelancers, giving them the flexibility to select jobs based on their own convenience and availability.

It is also not uncommon for graphic designers, architects and engineers in various fields to have a strong computing background since a lot of the recent technologies and software utilize computers.
