M.P. Professional examination board, Bhopal will conduct entrance tests for admission to AICTE approved MCA/MBA courses in institutions located in the state of Madhya Pradesh for the academic session 2011-12

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM) invites applications for Master of Computer Application Entrance (MCA) and Management Entrance Test (MET) 2011 for admission to 2 years (Four Semester) MBA, and allied courses (Full Time), 3 years (Six Semesters) MBA and Allied Courses (Part Time) and Master of Computer Application (MCA) (Full Time).

Eligibility for MET 2011

The Candidates should be an Indian National.

Educational Qualifications:
MBA & Allied Courses:

A candidate seeking admission to MBA and Allied Courses should be a Graduate or post Graduate with at least 50% marks (For example 750 marks obtained out of 1500 marks, rounding of marks or percentage will not be allowed) and 40% marks (For example 600 marks obtained out of 1500 marks, rounding of marks or percentage will not be allowed) in case of SC, ST, OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/ AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto.

The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or equivalent.

MCA COURSE:

A candidate seeking admission to MCA Course should be a Graduate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent thereto. The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either Higher Secondary (10+2) or at Graduation level.

Candidates with Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A.) degree of minimum three years duration are also eligible for admission.

NOTE:
Candidates in the Final year of above degree examination can also appear in the MET-2011 test/ PreMCA-2011 test on provisional basis. But such a candidate shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet of the final year of the degree examination at the time of Counselling from the concerned University.
How To Apply

Online Submission of Application Form: Candidates can submit only Online Application Form from 21.12.2010 to 12.01.2010 either through website www.vyapam.nic.in or www.mponline.gov.in. Candidates shall have to pay fees as mentioned below either through cash at authorized kiosks of MP online or Credit Card / Debit Card or Net Banking.
Pre MCA: Rs.700/- + 50/- online service charge
MET: Rs.1300/- + 50/- online service charge
Pre MCA + MET (Both): Rs.1500/- + 50/- online service charge
Last date for receipt of form: 12 January 2011
Entrance Date: 06 February 2011 (MET: Forenoon Session 9.00 Am to 12.00 Noon
MCA: Afternoon Session 3.00 PM to 5.15 PM)

The AICTE, New Delhi has given its approval to start MCA Course in mcapapers.info/category/doeacc" title='Read more about DOEACC'>DOEACC Centre Imphal from the current Academic Year 2009-10 said a statement of Director i/c Kh Budhachandra.

The AICTE team had visited the centre for inspection on June 01 2009 last before granting the approval.

The centre is likely to get approval and affiliation from Manipur University (MU) soon, as the MU team had also visited the centre on May 27, 2009 last for the purpose.

Earlier, MU had issued ‘No Objection Certificate’ to start MCA Course in mcapapers.info/category/doeacc" title='Read more about DOEACC'>DOEACC centre Imphal said the statement.

mcapapers.info/category/doeacc" title='Read more about DOEACC'>DOEACC Centre Imphal had “B” Level Programme, which is equivalent to MCA but the number of students admitted were less and hence the course was discontinued.

The present MCA course will utilize the facilities and faculties which were earlier engaged for the “B” Level Programme.
